DYSPHAGIA

In this half day interactive workshop participants will gain knowledge about signs and symptoms, preventative measures, and how to ensure the different levels of thickened fluids and food textures are prepared and fit the client profile.

Participants will experience first-hand how posture and body positioning can affect the swallowing apparatus.

First aid for choking and coughing is also covered.

IDDSI guidelines are being followed.
